History
Duke Family Medicine has provided primary care for Durham and surrounding communities since 1972. Our practice provides care to all ages via three teams within our practice. The family physician faculty, mid-level practitioners (physician assistant and nurse practitioner), residents, and nurses are assisted by a social worker, PharmD, and other personnel. Some of the team members practice only part-time. Patients may receive care from one of several workers of the team if the primary care provider (PCP) is not available. The team members will communicate with your PCP as necessary. Our clinic also provides teaching for medical, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, physical therapy and pharmacy students.

Our goal is to provide accessible, one-stop primary health care to families and individuals of all ages. We care for both acute and long term health conditions, and we stress prevention to keep you healthy and active.
